LGUSL has arranged for a limited number of training sessions with one of our competitive coaches/trainers, Bav Thakrar before formal tryouts are conducted.
These sessions will expose the players to the types of drills they will be asked to perform at tryouts. We hope these sessions will reduce the anxiety and stress that our young players can feel at their first tryout. Trainers at these sessions will confidentially share their impressions of attendees with our competitive coaches for the newly formed U9 teams in 2013. If your son or daughter has a passion for soccer, is ready to make a stronger commitment to the sport, and wants more competition, please consider coming to these training sessions.
The new teams being formed for both girls and boys involve players born on or after August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005, but younger players are eligible to tryout as well. LGUSL hopes to have a sufficient number of motivated players to form two teams in each age group, e.g., 24-28 boys and girls will be selected.

Dates: Sundays November 18th & 25th at Creekside and Dec 2nd at Fisher.

Time: 9:00-10:30am (boys) 10:45-12:15 (girls)

Location: Creekside Sports Park on Nov. 18 &25, Fisher Middle School on Dec. 2

Equipment required: ball, shin guards, water and snack.

Activities: Fun drills, small sided games, large game and skill sessions with Professional Coaches provided by Coach Bav and his West Coast Coaching Team.
