Division 3 (Comp)

Comp or Division 3 is the first step up from recreational leagues for players who want to improve their skills and participate in higher-level competition.  Teams choose their players through open tryouts.  All Comp teams participate in the Fall soccer season and attend a few tournaments each year.  Many also participate in Spring season.  For more details, see the "Playing Levels" link on this page.

LG Spirit Win Juventus Tournament

 

 

The Los Gatos Spirit 00G won the GU12 premier bracket of the Juventus Northern California Spring Showcase held on March 2nd and 3rd.  The team won all 4 games without allowing a goal, taking the final 1-0 against a strong Mill Valley Rockers team. Along the way, the Spirit beat the "A" teams from two strong Bay Area clubs: MVLA and Juventus, both 2-0. The tournament victory sees the team moved up in the gotsoccer rankings to #8 in Northern California and #73 in the nation. Next stop is a trip down south to the Cerritos Memorial Challenge Cup, arguably the strongest Memorial Day tournament in the country."
