Mission Statement of the Los Gatos United Soccer League
The Los Gatos United Soccer League
is committed to providing a high quality youth soccer program emphasizing the
development of soccer skills, promoting self esteem, encouraging good
sportsmanship, focusing on enjoying the sport, and learning the game.
The Los Gatos United Soccer League is an affiliate of the California Youth
Soccer Association (CYSA) District 2. We are the fourth largest league (1700
players) in CYSA District 2 with a strong showing in the competitive soccer
divisions, and a growing recreation division. We primarily serve the Los
Gatos and San Jose Cambrian areas, but accept players from anywhere regardless
of residence.

Fall Recreational Soccer
Late Registration May 1st
Regular registration for the Fall 2008 Recreation
Soccer season was open from April 1st - 30th. Late registration
begins May 1st. Late fee applies. See our

West Coast Soccer Camps - Summer
2008
This is a great way for your player to get some
touches on the ball, have some fun, and keep the skills
sharp. And we have dates set aside for 3 summer camps so you can plan now
around your vacations. July 14-18, Aug 11-15, Aug 18-22. See our camps page for more details.

Competitive Soccer
Open Tryouts for the 2008 competitive season will
begin in December. If your player is ready and interested in a higher level
of competition, check our Playing Levels page for a
description of our competitive divisions.

Spring Recreational Soccer
Due to field limitations, LGUSL doesn't offer a
recreational soccer program in the Spring. For other Spring opportunities,

Fall 2008 Survey Results
Every year the league seeks feedback from
families on the quality of their soccer experience. Results for the 2007
Fall season can be found at

Competitive League Survey.

In Case of Rain
If you'd like to be notified on your cell phone of late breaking field closures
or other urgent late breaking info, you can sign up
here
Note that our contracts with the schools that own the fields require us to close
the fields for a day or two after significant rains. This is done to
protect the fields and keep the grassy surfaces for our kids to enjoy.

Help us keep our Fields!!!
You can help us keep good relations with the
schools that provide our fields by following a few simple rules
Be courteous to the neighbors (drive slowly, park legally,
keep down the noise, NO JUMPING FENCES)
No dogs on school property
Clean up all trash before leaving the field.
