Mission Statement of the Los Gatos United Soccer League

The Los Gatos United Soccer League is committed to providing a high quality youth soccer program emphasizing the development of soccer skills, promoting self esteem, encouraging good sportsmanship, focusing on enjoying the sport, and learning the game.

The Los Gatos United Soccer League is an affiliate of the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) District 2. We are the fourth largest league (1700 players) in CYSA District 2 with a strong showing in the competitive soccer divisions, and a growing recreation division.  We primarily serve the Los Gatos and San Jose Cambrian areas, but accept players from anywhere regardless of residence.

  • In Case of Rain

If you'd like to be notified on your cell phone of late breaking field closures or other urgent late breaking info, you can sign up here

Note that our contracts with the schools that own the fields require us to close the fields for a day or two after significant rains.  This is done to protect the fields and keep the grassy surfaces for our kids to enjoy.

For updates on the Morgan Hill soccer complex field status, see the Abronzino website

  • Help us keep our Fields!!!
You can help us keep good relations with the schools that provide our fields by following a few simple rules
Be courteous to the neighbors (drive slowly, park legally, keep down the noise, NO JUMPING FENCES)
        No dogs on school property
Clean up all trash before leaving the field.

  • Competition - Is it Healthy?
Check out this recent article on Unhealthy Competition in the San Francisco Chronicle.  It's an excerpt from a book titled "Revolution in the Bleachers".  Good food for thought.
